How ScapePilot uses data

ScapePilot is a RuneScape tools site focused on training methods, unlock-aware account checks, and practical recommendations for RS3 and OSRS players. This page explains the public data sources behind the site and what they can or cannot verify.

  • - The app uses public RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape data sources.
  • - Official hiscores are the source of truth for player skill data, with RS3 RuneMetrics used only when it is publicly available.
  • - RuneScape Wiki and Old School RuneScape Wiki APIs are used for live page metadata so method sources stay current.
  • - Recommendations are only as accurate as the public profile data and the structured method requirement data available to the app.
  • - Quest completion, items, area access, and other hidden unlocks may still be partially unverifiable from public APIs.
  • - The app does not automate gameplay, interact with the RuneScape client, or ask for passwords.
  • - AI is used for explanation only after the backend has already determined eligibility and ranking.

Hiscores

Official player stats

Skill levels and experience are built from official RuneScape and Old School RuneScape hiscores whenever those endpoints are available for the selected account.

RuneMetrics

RS3 quest verification

For RuneScape 3, public RuneMetrics quest data can be used to verify some unlock-sensitive training methods more accurately than hiscores alone.

Wiki data

Current method sources

RuneScape Wiki and Old School RuneScape Wiki metadata are used to keep method sourcing and supporting references current.
